Derek's comments:

I was so nervous going into these sessions, as it was my first real major release. There were three different producers for this CD, Andy Wallace, Baron & Purdell, and Don Flemming.

My favorite memory of these sessions was that Alice had a song called "Lost in America". The producer needed gang background vocals so he asked me to join in. When you sing as well as play on a record, you get paid double. I loved telling Alice's cocksucker assitant manager at the time that he had to pay me double!

Fast Facts:
I play guitar (white Les Paul) in the "Lost in America" video that was shot a Chaplin Stage at A&M Records the day that Kurt Cobain committed suicide.
