I want to thank everyone for coming out to the shows on the last run.
Also thanks to Ric Fierabracci for doing a fantastic job on bass.

We recorded the last five shows of the tour, as we intend to release a
new live CD in 2003.

Hello Friends,

Planet X is ready to hit the road next week, bassist Ric Fierabracci is sounding great with the band- this should be fun. The live set will feature most of the music from our new CD "MoonBabies", along with all the old hits! ... and yes there will be plenty of pompous, self indulgent solo spots from each member!

I will also be playing some holiday shows with Billy Idol:

Dec 26 - 4th and B - San Diego, CA
Dec 27 - Mandalay Bay - Las Vegas, NV
Dec 31 - House of Blues - Hollywood, CA

I have a new solo (no title yet) CD that is 98% complete, I will have it ready for Simon Phillips to mix in January 2003. Some of the song titles are:

The Sons of Anu (feat: Yngwie Malmsteen & Al Dimeola)
Stony Days (feat: Steve Lukather)
Fear of Flying (feat: Zakk Wylde & Yngwie Malmsteen)

Thanks for your patience and kind e-mails on the status of the new website. From here on in, there will be more regular updates.

There are a couple of links that may seem dead at some parts of the website, but they are all constantly being worked on. Of course there have been a lot of sections that have been revamped and retouched for your reading pleasure, but some other content is on the way like new pictures from the Billy Idol tour and more. Billy Idol Australian Tour Kicks off!

Derek is on his way to Australia for a couple of Billy Idol performances. They will be performing at various stadiums from Oct 5th through the 12th. Check out the tour dates for more.

Live From Oz, and more...

Our apologies for the slow updates on dereksherinian.com. For those of you that normally surf to the official Planet X website, you'll notice that the site underwent a big revamp. It is growing more and more! Keep your eyes peeled on xplanetx.com for updates on Planet X.

Live From Oz has been released in Europe (April 3rd). It will soon follow on May 21st and 22nd in North America and Japan.

Dereksherinian.com is also undergoing some website changes as it's planned to re-populate the contents of the site. Stay tuned for more info about this.
